The third annual Carolina Indie Fest returns to downtown Sanford, NC on May 12th and 13th with ten hours of all original rock, glam rock, country, R&B, glitter grunge and more.
Bands will perform on stage at the rear of Hugger Mugger Brewing (229 Wicker Street in Sanford) surrounded by food trucks, beer trucks and crafty vendors. The brewery will be releasing a special festival beer & will be re-releasing a small portion of the beer brewed for
the Fall 2022 festival. Both beers were brewed in collaboration with festival beer sponsor Family Veterinary Mobile Clinic.
Carolina Indie Fest mostly features artists from across North Carolina but some are on tour from as far away as Indiana. All artists are performing an hour of all original music, no covers, and while some bands are signed to a label others are self-promoting in the original Indie music fashion. Hugger Mugger Brewing considered over 1,000 submissions in making decisions on festival performers. The festival puts an emphasis on booking bands with an eclectic mix of genres. Past performers include the Accidentals, Mike Dillon's Punkadelic, Willow Hill, Cliff Wheeler Band, Nitro Nitra and more.
Music kicks off on Friday May 12th at 5pm, a full lineup is available below
