Upcycled Indie Wear

One of the most popular Indie items at Indie Fest in May were upcycled clothes retrofitted with Indie branding. This innovative idea is the brainchild of Marilyn at Get Under My Skin - she sold out on the first night last time around but she’s better prepared for the demand this time on Sept 25th and 26th and is bringing some cool new gear (pictured).

If you aren’t familiar with Marilyn she is a seamstress extraordinaire. In this instance she's taking leftover Indie merch and repurposing the branding onto other sorts of clothing - in May it was flannels but this Fall it looks like denim rules the roost. Marilyn also brings an eclectic range of items with her including some fun oddities that would look lovely in any Victorian parlor. Well, some Victorian parlors. :-)

Tomorrow is when we finalize vendor spaces - I’m fairly certain you’ll find her in the beer garden area but it might well be public parking. She’s so worth seeking out at the fest - if not for upcycled Indie wear then for her custom sewing.
