Jive Talk are known to some as “retro nerd-core supreme mother ****ers” out of Nashville (a town known more for country than pop music). Rolling Stone describes their music as "avant-guard synth-rock" and as a child of the 80's the band evokes in me some sort of primal pop music reaction. I get thrown back in time while also wanting to bop along to a very contemporary sound, it's a fun effect. So excited to get Jive Talk here and on stage to close out ten hours of all original music at Carolina Indie Fest. You can see them on Saturday, May 11th at the stage on the rear of the property at Hugger Mugger Brewing.
