Indie Fest Day 2 - Here We Go!!!

What an amazing day for some live music - grab your lawn chair and some sunscreen and head to downtown Sanford pronto! Here’s what you need to know:

- Indie Fest kicks off at 3pm with an amazing band in Tuatha Dea - you won’t want to miss them, I’m hopeful we have room on stage for the whole band! And really, get here even earlier to check out the Downtown Sanford, Inc. concert on Steele Street (between Carthage and Wicker Streets) from 1 to 3pm. There are food and sweets trucks already set up to meet your mid day noshing needs.

- It’s a great day for toting your lawn chair from one free live music fest to the next (the two stages are only one block away from each other)

- included here is a parking map - we have enough parking available in downtown but it’s a bit spread out.

- in addition to live music we have a host of other things going on today - dozens of crafty vendors, five killer food trucks in Fry Papi, Safari Eatz, Dawg Wagon, PineWürst and the original Tacos El Primo, Inc. (who also cater our VIP area), and have you tried our new spring bock and upside down pineapple cake sour?

- this afternoon we open the parking deck (thanks to Dossenbach's Finer Furniture and Mattress Center!) for additional vendors. You will find the selfie station here as well as mascot appearances by Charlee the Cougar from Central Carolina Community College (5-6pm) and Webster the Sanford Spinners baseball team mascot (6-7pm). Indie Man and Sandy Strawberry (the Strawberry Jammin' mascot) will make appearances throughout the afternoon and evening.

- it’s a beautiful day for some live music - just bring a long sleeved something for the evening. You will not want to miss the show that Jive Talk is going to put on to close out the day!
