What Are We Eating at Indie?

You're only rocking out as far as your last meal takes you, better fuel up for fun at Indie!

Before I get to the food trucks just know there are a number of non-food truck items at Indie every year. Mom Lisa and C&G Sweet Spot are cookies and sweets purveyors that brewery veterans will readily recognize (and flock to). Carolina Donut Diva will be serving up gourmet mini donuts, they have buckets - I don't know if they're bringing the buckets but you might could bring your own to fill. Anything served by the bucket is worth a look.

Hunter's Harvest, who you might recall from our Renaissance Fair. will be selling sourdough

breads and more. Twelve Oaks Cannery is no stranger to Indie Fest, James will be selling all manner of pickled items - a beer and a pickle is a tasty treat. And Faye's Sweet Shack is joining us Saturday with her brand of freeze dried candy and treats.

And then, there are the food trucks. What follows is just straight cribbing from our day of event page but there's no shame in stealing from oneself. Here goes:

Friday Food Trucks (5-9pm)

Tacos El Primo - Indie sponsor, official caterer and purveyor of Mexican style tacos to the Sanford area for over a quarter century. That's a lotta tacos!

Cousins Maine Lobster - It took a shark tank to make this lobster truck happen! Lobster rolls, lobster tater tots, lobster everything. You can order from your seat and pickup between bands!

Dalat - Streets of Vietnam - Spring rolls, bahn mi sandwiches and noodles await

Doy Doy Grill - Mediterranean foods including gyros & kabobs. Soon with a brick and mortar location in Fuquay!

Ruckus City Kitchen - don't be fooled by the smaller sized trailer, great grilled foods lie within!

Saturday Food Trucks (2:30-9pm)

JDub's Poboys - oyster, shrimp or catfish poboys - menu changes regularly
