Sandra's Bakery, located right next to Hugger Mugger Brewing, is making a donut just for Carolina Indie Fest called Indie Fest Meltdown. The donut is baked, in part, using Hugger Mugger's Chocolate Factory Meltdown Milk Chocolate Imperial Stout. While the alcohol bakes out the flavor remains - there are two varieties to try, a standard cake donut and a cake donut filled with Bavarian cream. Each are covered with sprinkles that feature the official red, yellow and blue color scheme of Indie Fest. Look for Sandra's Bakery in Hugger Mugger's beer garden on both days of the festival - Friday, Sept 29 and Saturday, Sept 30.
