Interview with Sxvxnt & Jack the Radio now Available

Of all the North Carolina Festivals I know there is only one that has interviews published with

it musical artists ahead of time. That's right, it's us.

Or, more correctly, it's The Rant. Gordon Anderson is a bit of a musician, he's one of the integral parts of sci fi themed punk rock band Oort Patrol, and he interviews most every band that performs at Indie. He does a great job, I always learn new things about the bands I've booked. Every time I listen I'm partly excited to learn something new and partly scared that ... I'll learn something new.

It always makes my Indie Fest experience much much more enjoyable having listened to the bands talk at length about their work. One of the things it does is expand my understanding of what it means to be "indie" - it's a term that's hard to pin down, and

particularly so when you learn how many talented artists there are trying to make a living out of their passion in so many different ways.
