Indie Fest Kicks Off Tonight!

Here we goooooooooo!!!!!! Carolina Indie Fest #7 is about to kick off at 5pm, here's what you need to know ...

Two old standby pieces of advice - bring a lawn chair for the best seats and know your parking. There are lots of free parking lots throughout downtown, just peep at this attractive map from Downtown Sanford, Inc. to see your options.

We have a new area open under the parking deck we're calling The Big Weird. Among the highlights under the deck are Monster Creation at Carolina Indie Fest, Choose Your Own Adventure at Indie Fest, Mortuarium: memento mori terrarium class , book vendors, oddities vendors, fairy hair and makeup & a Tour de Freak selfie area with creepy props.

Every Indie we have a 16oz festival cup - we charge $1 for the first pour and that's it. This is our way of reducing waste (and it works!) You can bring any of our 16oz cups from prior Indie's or from Brews Blues & BBQ and skip the charge. Also acceptable are dimple mugs and steins from past Indies.

Lastly, every Indie graphic is artwork by an independent artist. Most of them, including this fest's design, are illustrated by local artists. We try to keep the festival as local as possible. For you out-of-towners I hope you'll stay a night and get to know us a little better, Sanford will not disappoint.
