Appalachia meets Celtic - that's the intersection where much of Tuatha Dea's music dwells.
This 8 member band shows both sides of these genres and blends them with diverse instrumentation including hand drums and a didgeridoo. Our grumpy-yet-quite-nice sound tech told me he bought $1,000 of mics just to make sure he had enough to mic all the instruments. And given the number of instruments they are starting off on Saturday rather than hold up the show later in the evening.
